Hello Parents and Fans.

Most of the time our sites are just fun for everyone. We enjoy the animals, and you enjoy watching them and hearing about their adventures. However, in nature, sometimes things happen that can be sad and distressing for everyone. Sometimes, some of our furry friends on the farm leave us. Sometimes we can see it coming. Other times, it’s unexpected. This is the case with 2 of our beloved friends, Ox the sheep, and Mindy the baby goat.

It was a shock to everyone at the farm. Our camera was down for the week, partly due to technical issues. Partly because we didn't know how to break the news to our fans.

The camera is back up, and your kids may notice that little Mork is running around the fields with his parents, without little Mindy nearby. This could lead to difficult questions, and more difficult answers.

Life on the farm, even a little farm like Cabin Creek Acres, does mean dealing with the sad side of nature at times. We lost ‘ol Gracie at the beginning of the year. Sometimes a little bunny isn’t strong enough for the world. We do our best to work with what nature sends our way.

We’ll continue to show the happy side of life on the little farm. We just wanted to let you know why Ox and Mindy are no longer in the barnyard with their friends. They’ll be greatly missed.
